Most of them are useless. I'm an electrical engineer and have a degree in Computer Science, specifically in artificial intelligence. While I don't work in AI field, I have many friends that do and they literally automate the shit out of everything as we speak. Computer Vision can do a lot of things, especially with current state of AI training systems (basically they understood that AI should learn the same way as human, that's why it's currently advancing exponentially)

If you're reliant on public transportation, you're reliant on the government. Government can then coerce what they believe to be the proper behavior from you with the threat of barring you from said public transportation. Government hates freedom, so the car has to go.
