Population genetics doesn't agree with you. Poles and other West Slavs are pure Slavs. They genetically don't cluster with Germans, they have the highest rate of the R1a haplogroup and they don't have the Asian DNA found in Russians.

They're Uralic, so ethnically close to Finns and Estonians. Although the Finno-Ugrics and Magyars came to Europe in different migrations several thousands of years apart.
Hungarians also have Hun (pre-Magyar) and Cuman-Kipchak (post-Magyar) heritage.
