Jesus said quite explicitly “when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors…Truly I say to you that this generation will BY NO MEANS pass away until all these things happen.” (Matthew 24:33, 34)
But those anointed 'brothers of Christ' who did see - and understood that they were seeing - the Signs of the Times starting from World War One did actively share their observations, and discuss the significance of them, with other younger anointed brothers of their generation. The last possible anointed brothers of that generation are now in their fifties.
BY NO MEANS will they all die before the end comes !!!
All the prophecies are coming to fruition. JWs were the first to predict that the UN would be formed and that it would destroy the whore of babylon (the world empire of false religion)
We already see the King of the North rising against the King of the South (Russia vs the USA).
The prophecy of the feet of clay and iron coming to pass (democracy weakening the US' ability to act with authority due to political divisions)
Famines on the horizon, pestilences every year and wars brewing. It is SILLY to now of all times to make fun of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Every single apocalyptic religious movement is based around people who are failures at life. An overzealous yearning for an end to the world simply because you're too sensitive to people around you being assholes. There have always been assholes. There have always been Jews, even if they formerly went by different names. It's the very design of nature. It's a balance intended to build the character of your soul. Stop bitching about it. Jesus's message wasn't based on apocalyptic visions, but faggots have been saying the world is ending every single year since Jesus's death. I don't give a fuck if you call yourself a Jehovahs witness. You're a human and you chose to be here. Act like it. That's how you honor God.
Christcattle are constantly screeching about "prophecies" that have supposeldy been fulfilled... Well, it's easy for the bible to "predict the future" when all it ever does is make vague, non-commital statements that could be applied to anyone, in any place, during any time period.
There have been wars and rumors of wars since the dawn of civilization. Natural disasters have been occurring since the beginning of time. People have been greedy, boastful, seekers of pleasure since cavemen were rubbing sticks together. There have been famines, disease, and pestilence since early man was swinging from the tree tops. The bible has never accurately predicted anything specific, ever.
Absolutely based. Fellow JW here. Helpings spread the Good News of God's Kingdom one user at a time. Are you ready to go back into the field September 1?
In fact, the Bible has predicted many things specifically. Including your ridicule of its predictions.

>Jesus's message wasn't based on apocalyptic visions
Matthew 24:3) “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
>Jesus said that his presence would be signified with...
(Matthew 24:7) “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.
(Luke 21:11)...in one place after another pestilences...
(Matthew 24:12) and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off.
>The earth would be ruined and polluted.
“Bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” (Revelation 11:18)
>The message is officially spread of his coming and his Kingdom.
“This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.”—Matt. 24:14.
>The Announcement of Peace and Security
“Whenever it is that they are saying: ‘Peace and security!’ then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them.”—1 Thess. 5:3.
>The Great Tribulation
>Armageddon
We are currently in the pangs of distress Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 which is part of the last days. We are not in the Great Tribulation. Where we are is in the moment right before they announce peace and security. They are going to announce a word wide call of Peace & Security in some way. Then the Great Tribulation then Armageddon.
You are gonna land in hell 100%, but then again, you don't even believe "hell" is real - just lê grave.

>They are going to announce a word wide call of Peace & Security in some way. Who is "they"?
>(Matthew 24:7) “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. I could easily make a case for any year in antiquity that this was the case. In the year 551 the coast of the Levant was hit with one of the largest earthquakes in history, followed by smaller ones in surrounding areas. Also in 551 were the Gothic wars and the Lazic wars with the siege of Petra by the Byzantines.
Jesus's dialogue was entirely metaphorical for the inner workings of the human soul. A wordly representation of what's inside you. How many times have you heard "the kingdom of heaven is inside you" and you still interpret the Bible like a child.
But those examples are just one place, shouldn’t it be on a global scale

"debunked"
You literally do not believe that Jesus rose again, but that he turned into a ghost
Imagine a lifetime of devotion just to burn in hell anyway

Die Bibel sagt, dass Jesus „im Fleische zu Tode gebracht, aber im Geiste lebendig gemacht wurde“ (1. Petrus 3:18; Apostelgeschichte 13:34; 1. Korinther 15:45; 2. Korinther 5:16).
>ignores the nation of Israel becoming a nation again in 1948 Back to r/atheism
Matthew Reed
>showed the holes in his hands to his disciples >uh its a ghost, not his body i get that you are brainwashed, but atleast *try* to use the pink mush in your head
Caleb Bell
>ignores the nation of Israel becoming a nation again >was a nation >became a nation again Wow, the same "nation" that has the Dome of the Rock?

note how this retard writes in German so people can't read the autistic replies
>yeah guys Jesus had holes in his hands because his ghostform took on a body that looked like that haha
watch less danny phantom

>Who is "they"?
The nations, the world leaders.
>I could easily make a case for any year in antiquity that this was the case. Also in 551 were the Gothic wars and the Lazic wars with the siege of Petra by the Byzantines.
This prophecy is only part of a larger COMPOSITE prophecy. This is only a part of the entire foreseen future the Last Days. This guy and the last verse in pic related answered this. Your example only happened in that region. The verses showing the Last Days are SIMULTANEOUSLY WORLDWIDE.
