Are there any examples of animals observing a "taboo" in their society?

Wondering if it's something solely linked to complex language. Amongst humans the number of taboos are almost limitless depending on the context. Everything from cannibalism to invest to belching at the dinner table. Does anyone know of at least an arguable application of animal groups observing a taboo? Nigger

No because of how it's defined. Animals will, for example, try to never shit where they sleep, avoid areas where their in-group has died, and not start quarrels with their in-group for no real gain. Does this mean these are taboos? Or are we simply defining taboo as something else that animals can't perceive? Animals are capable of following rules even if they don't exactly understand the implications of the rules. If taboo means something else, then so be it.
