The entire thing had absolutely putrid 'optics.' And yet, the rioters and blacks won. The corporate world cucked to them and gave them billions of dollars. Cops and federal law enforcement agents kneeled to the rioters, and protected them WHILE they rioted. Trump himself wanted to give them half-a-TRILLION dollars via the 'platinum plan.'
The next time someone cites 'bad optics' as the reason for a group or a movement failing, throw the Floyd riots back at them. They have no response to this.

In what way did the Floyd riots have bad optics? They got hundreds of thousands of zoomers to post black squares on insta, they got every major corporation to come out in support of them, they demonized anyone who resisted and they followed it all up by spreading the claim that the property damage was the work of white supremacists and the cops. There was never a moment in the Floyd riots where they weren't in control of the optics.
