Why (Mainland) China has no cultural exports? No books, no music, no movies, no videogames, nothing. Is Communism really the answer?

The only thing China really has is food and esoterism like tai chi, acupuncture and traditional medicine. That's it.

On the vidya department they are slowly seeming to catch up though (that isnt Gacha shit) and Three Kingdom 2010 is an amazing TV series.

Nobody knows they are Chinese. I thought they were Koreans or Americans.

Are you learning Chinese? What kind of games are you talking about?

Seems whole East Asia has no cultural exports except Japan, both socialist and capitalist countries. Not only no movies but also no writers.
Japan is an exception.

Anything of value in Mainland China was destroyed by the CCP. Now they are importing out culture and traditions.
This is why you wouldn't find Cultural shit from China except for cheap chinatown crap.

>Are you learning Chinese?
No but theres plenty chinese TV series being fan translated. On the vidya department you had Naraka Bladepoint last year being released in the west and Wu Kong seems to look alright if its not vapor ware.

Gacha Impact is also pretty popular for being a chinese gacha.

Because their cultural touchstones are fucking insane and make no sense.

its like being surprised an ant hive has no cultural output.

Nigger

It was bought up by tencent (China) back in 2011, they have progressively made it more Chinese over the years, removing western culture from it etc. It is a Chinese product, promoting Chinese ideas that align with the party sentiment.

Sorry Zhang, but it's true.

Have you seen cultural exports from Russia? Not some shitty writers from the 19th century, but actual modern cultural exports from Russia.

The answer is the West wants to dominate the world itself and is not interested in cultural exports even from supposedly white countries like Russia, let alone other non-significant countries.

The only reason why Japanese or South Korean cultural exports are allowed is because those countries are the US's lapdogs. See what happens with all their cultural exports if they will become hostile to the US/West.

>Have you seen cultural exports from Russia?
Otava Ë counts?

There's quite a lot of Russians producing content online. After of the fall of the Soviet Union, you guys have been everywhere, especially online. Russia has so much to give to the world. I like that.

>There's quite a lot of Russians producing content online. After of the fall of the Soviet Union, you guys have been everywhere, especially online.

The truth is those Russians don't work for Russia, but for international corporations/foreign countries. Of course they are everywhere, because if they try to do business in Russia, their business will be hijacked by govenment or government-backed oligarch goons.

>Russia has so much to give to the world.

Name a single culture export from Russia that is known globally. Russia's, not "some Russian dude was working on this project as well".

We have a cultural censorship mechanism that allows government officials to kill how they don't like a work.
Whether it's games, movies, novels, or music.
As long as government officials don't like it, they can easily ban your work.
All of our games, many of them, are abandoned to pass censorship. Cancel plans to sell them domestically in China. Instead, they go through the WTO and go directly to foreign game sales platforms like steam to sell.
Because the vast majority of games simply can't pass cultural censorship.

No, westerners are mindless consumers and dont give a shit about who benefits from what they consume. Tik tok is an example, as most that use it know that it's a chinese spy app. The real reason is the ccp kills creativity to keep mindless bugmen from questioning them. They make a good lesson on why to reject jewish ideologies like communism.

There are tons of Chinese cultural products, we just didn't realize it. They used to make lots of kung-fu movies, movies about ancient china, with TV series. Some made it to the west, and a lot was exported to surrounding countries. Kungfu-Hustles came to mind. Nowdays their crummy comics are overruning manga sites, with millions of views, you can check them out yourself. They carry innate chinese 'value', which focused on wealth, valuing status and money even in fantasy comics, etc. A shame because Hong-Kong battle comics are pretty awesome in the 90s. And fascination with chinese culture, chinese food, silk, and such was a big thing in the west a few decades before. Heck, even plates are called 'china'. But they are watered down nowdays, like every other countries culture everywhere.

The minimal apparent export of china culture to the west can also be explained by their behaviour/mindset/culture. China, historically, almost never invaded anybody. They had conflicts with neighbours, yes, but they never physically send an army to invade far-flung countries, like the USA or Japan. China never send troops to invade Iraq to get their oils, or had Jews telling them to fuck up Middle East or had delusions to look for imaginary WMD in some desert. They never had the concept of 'white/yellow man burden' to colonize countries in the other side of the earth. In other words, they didn't really project their culture and brute-power over long distance. Brute force was inelegant to them, they rather use soft power with foreign nation. This is why China loses to British Empire, and then to the inhumane imperialistic warmonger Japan.

Here's where it all went wrong: the destruction of Ming dynasty China. So Jews fucked this country up well before communism ever could, the cultural revolution (which Jews were involved with) only aided to the destruction afterwards. So when people say it's communism that destroyed China, that's only half of the story.
>How Jews Destroyed China - the revolution that destroyed the Ming Dynasty was funded by Kaifeng Jews (1600s - 1900s)

Most of the world has no significative cultural exports. Mainstream international culture has been an Anglo monopoly for a very long time. It is pretty much the only foreign culture most countries consume. Anglo products are perceived as cooler and Anglos constantly promote each other. Just look at the Simpsons, for example, 98% of their cultural homages are about other Anglo works. And English is the dominant language and only Anglo press has an international audience. Because of this, they fully control the narrative. People even pay attention to the awards Anglos give to themselves.
The only non-Anglo country that has managed to find a large international market for their products is Japan, and even then we're mostly talking about anime and products related to anime.

Still Soviet cinema is 2 head above Chinese cinema, seems Chinese just don't want to bother with making movies.

>No, westerners are mindless consumers and dont give a shit about who benefits from what they consume.

Dude, stop talking bullshit. Your own government literally banned your own people from investing into Cuba, China and other countries, which your government don't like. They banned Chinese and Russian media as well (CGTN is banned in the UK, RT is banned in Europe afair).

Westerners do not choose what to consume, it's their government who decide it.

>Tik tok is an example, as most that use it know that it's a chinese spy app.

Classics. You're repeating mainstream talking points again. As I recall the Chinese allowed CIA to infiltrate TikTok to be allowed in the West (they created some shit named TikTok Global, which is separate from original TikTok and is ruled by CIA).

I kinda want to go see Warriors of the Future. The CGI for it looks great.
But the weather is too hot to motivate me to go to the cinema.
