It can either end dramatically fast (in the case if some grand success of ukie army like deoccuping Kherson which will anihilate the remains of russian morale, OR putin suddenly dying, but consequenses of that are hard to predict) or it will be a slow grind (talking months here) In the worst case it will end in next spring, in the best it can happen in the matter if weeks or even days In either case both Ukraine and its partners are set for a marathon until victory is achieved. The Ukrainian forces received the most modern variant of the famous American Browning .50 - M2A1. The first examples were transferred to the US Army in 2011. The M2A1 is a modernization of a M2 with a quick change barrel which doesn't require adjusting headspace and timing.
