they are kind of right on this in a round about way because the founders knew democracy was shitty even if it was better than the other options available at the time it's why the constitution is so hard to change and it's also why our whole system is designed to slow down and retard the momentary whims of the public. It's true. There are a lot of founding documents, a lot of laws around the world, a lot of better ways everyone agrees could be better. Treating the constitution as perfect requires a belief in a strange mythology. Most of it cams from British parliament and that's not perfect. There's no need to be arbitrarily hitched to something that can be improved and already was.
