Start by getting a couple ar15s then buy at minimum 12 magazines, start with 500 rds, there are different drills to start with, also move and shooting is important understand the difference between cover and concealment get a good d zero on the rifle to where there is little or no hold over up to 300yd also learn hight over bore for your zero which means up close you'll have to aim the dot above the target depending on how high you scope or dot is. Get good with camo in the woods also don't forget to paint your face and hands or wear gloves.
