People don't realize the effects of marketing, it's something people will learn about years from now. You had a Brazilian guy who worked in the cosmetics industry for example, said that there was an explosion of transexualism in both the US and brazil when female beauty products were advertised.

This is one of the reasons the Chinese are VERY careful about what's allowed on their screens, you're not allowed to make a 'good guy whitey' and 'bad guy chinese' type of film, the censors won't allow it.
