There's enough fuel to last 10,000 years at least with fuel breeding 4. Chernobyl couldn't happen again because the massive majority of the reactors in use are PWR, not RBMK (the chernobyl reactor type). Current RBMK reactors are modified to use more enriched Uranium and thus be more safe. 5. 10k peopled died from the tsunami at fukushima, 0 died from the nuclear incident. 6. China is ALL IN on nuclear power. They are building EVERY DESIGN available from (UK, france, korea, etc.) including newer 4th gen designs. 7. Developing nations will look to nuclear, and the nation that will provide it to them will be china which will give china soft power over these nations

Nuclear is clearly the most important energy source to humanity in the near future. The problem is fear mongering media, green sabotage, and government incompetence. Media is paid to make sure people are scared. Green cultists sabotage projects and siphon money into scams. Government is corrupt and creates pointless red tape and steals money from projects. Humanity cannot move forward until we start taking nuclear seriously. Perhaps our only hope is that Amazon or Microsoft will eventually try to create mini nuclear reactors to power data centers. These centers are usually located remotely in cheap areas, require tons of energy, and require reliable power source. Right now they rely on backup generators, but a series of mini nuclear reactors would fulfill all their energy needs. Eventually CPU's and GPU's and quantum computers will NECESSITATE a local power plant to run them and the infrastructure required to sustain them.
Solar is closest to ideal, no moving parts and practically zero/free input Make a super-rugged panel that will last 1000+ years, sun shouldn't run out of fuel anytime soon

Idk, how do you properly store peanuts ? you ensure that they are put into a safe container where rodents or insects or mold can't eat them before you do, that the container is strong enough to last until you eat them, that nobody will be bothered by the stocking of your peanuts and that nobody will try to steal them or mess with them. A paper bag in your kitchen usually does the trick.
