Trans people are accepted rapidly due to relative politeness. Which is to say, trans people are relatively polite! They are more likely than most people to be able to engage with rude environments while subreciprocating rudeness, reducing how rude those environments are.

This is a general capability of highly compassionate populations. All the highly compassionate populations are high-value additions to movements, because politeness really works.

Trans identification has been going up in recent years and society's standards for politeness have been rising.

Autism is one of the clues that a person is non-sociopathic. AFAIK autism and sociopathy don't coexist in the same people. They exist on opposite ends of the charm spectrum. Sociopaths are typically charming and hide their true natures, autistic people are typically charmless and expose their true natures.

It's a credit to society when weird people like autistics can be safe in communities.

I think autistic people are better people on average, and something that I appreciate about the modern rise in autism rates is that it should result in a future rise in the occurrence of autistic parents. I think high-functioning autists will be good parents. My husband is one, and I'm convinced he'd be a great parent. If only he wanted to have a kid!
