The companies that are contributing the most to the development of sex robots are DS Doll in China, and Abyss Creations (aka Real Doll) in the United States. I think there is also a Chinese company by the name of AI Tech that has some sort of product out (called Emma?), but it's not exactly the most google-able company name.

As long as civilization doesn't collapse before that, yes, that is where things are headed. The rate of sexlessness in men is increasing, this will cause a demand for a replacement for women. So the demand is here and growing every year, all we are waiting for is the tech to catch up.
