The predictions of quantum theory have the least error of any other model, that does not make it verified. It simply means the model has stronger predictive power than the others we have discovered. When new models with superior predictive power are discovered they will supercede the current one. The issue is we are discovering that reality itself is likely not ever 100% predictable from within. We can only every approach perfect prediction of the future but never achieve it. Therefore no model of reality can be said to be verified, only that it be rank ordered in an error minimization series.

Dark matter likely does not exist. Dark energy may be a measurement error, or it may be an ether like field which balances out the forces of expansion and contraction at the extremes and could be part of the mechanism of eternal ism (big bounce/conformal cyclic cosmology)
