I think property taxes should be cheap on people's first homes, and substantially higher on subsequent properties. It would keep working class people housed with stability, eliminate housing and basic necessities as speculative investments, and end hedge fund and megacorporate landlords.

J think seniors should get no tax on property upto certain amount, say you dont pay if your middle class property owner.
No tax under certain annual income on anything.
Free medication.
Free full healthcare.
And higher penssions for seniors of lower income, especially while they are active.

Often penssions increase latter when they are less active.
Many seniors go from paycheck to penssion and it's substantially lower kncome, it's a shock to the system, they are stressed on top of transitioning routine and that contributes to disease and early death.

Instead of trying to kill them it would be good to mind their transition and make it less stressful and more easy, so they remain engaged, active and at easy, and live long for their grandchildren.

We have it all wrong.
Elders are Very Important People, not a burden government tries to remove.
It cases damage removing the eleders, more damage then it costs to mantain them as long as possible.

When speaking to elders, they're most often out of touch and have no understanding of the world. Their advice is dogshit. They grew up in easier times and are naïve.
They pay attention to unimportant things, like nice curtains or their garden or something, rather than seeking a systwmic understanding or phenomena, ranked by relevance. As they get older, theylose both interest in absteaction and acuity of perception.
