Ukraine is doing a great job in "holding" the line, but I strongly believe that soon the winter arrives, and the demand for Russian gas increases in Europe, the West will turn its backs to Ukraine and will not be able to supply their soldiers (that already have a hard time due 200 to 800 loses a day), and so the war will end.

Clearly Russia went in expecting they would roll over Ukraine. That didn't happen.
I'm going to say what you already know but no one will say:
The US is at war with Russia and instead of the US sending mass troops in, we're funding, supplying and training Ukraine.
Ukraine's military is small and it's getting chewed up, but they're inflicting a LOT of damage to Russia's troop.
Not only does Russia need to take the area, but they need to maintain it. Just like every other recent war, this is extremely hard to do. Russia will likely fail. Question is does it fail while taking or maintaining?
What I'm surprised about is that NATO/Europe didn't step and do some sort of 1/2 measure like creating a no fly zone.

No. They lost cities, ports, land. Until that reverses, they are losing. Their only hope from the start was putting up a stiff resistance (tactical) AND western countries actually stepping in directly or Russian economy collapsing (strategic). Instead Europe is collapsing and Ukraine will not receive direct foreign involvement (actual professional boots on the ground).
