According to a report by POLITICO, crisis management chief Janez Lenarcic has claimed that the impact climate change is having on EU member states is increasing, something which he believes now mandates intervention from Brussels.

Climate change is real. Carbon emissions are bad, even if you don't buy the official climate science narratives. Transitioning to more sustainable energy sources is a good thing.

I don't know who any of these people are but if they think carbon emissions are bad enough to warrant imposition on the general populations wellbeing and lockdowns are OK because they are temporary then I care little for them.
