Pol is always talking about Jesus and Christianity and Jews. What do you guys think of this show? Is it accurate? It’s supposedly quite popular does it have any political ramifications?

Makes Jesus seem incredibly personable and likeable. Something most media has never portrayed his character as. Not bad production and casting either. I’m a little suspicious of the director since I think his father made the left behind series which is questionably well poisoning end times doctrine
Season 3 when
Feels like I’ve been waiting forever
Never seen it but its free on Roku so I'll watch the first few episodes.
It’s a slow start but stick with it. The political implications are alternative forms of media that don’t spew degeneracy but rather uplift while still producing quality content.
I really liked how they built up Jesus first miracle turning water to ine. When you read it you don't think how serious it was for him to perform his first miracle. But the show did pretty good on that, cause he knew nothing will be the same after.
Jesus love you anons. Hope all is well with you. Im battling some demons, and need to return to him. I know he's waiting for me.
this thread deserves a bump
Will make you cry erytiem
Nothing like the Bible. It has that power that makes it feel like it’s talking directly to you.
Season 2 of ugly Asian looking bitch gets jealous and starts caking on makeup. She throws the show off a bit when you see the heavy mascara and lipstick. Women ruin everything.

Well done but risky due to their estimations, though considered, to make for dramatic viewing. Bearing false witness is a highest level sin, bearing false witness against Jesus, well you better believe that is a paddling.
A few good actors mixed with some stage actors who are too stage like. The look and feel of the show is taken from modern HBO series which is fine.
Jesus is a hard role to play and this fella is up there at the top and good for him.
In reality, living at that time what absolute shit show. Imagine going for groceries and seeing your neighbourhood childhood friend being executed in public. In Islamic societies, this is normal and ungodly but the Word will carry on regardless.
It's a really enjoyable show. Managed to sneak obscure references here and there, made me want to see more of Moses.
Would kill to see their interpretation of the crucifixion but that'll probably happen by 2026
Jannies really trying to slide this thread.
Well it was typical darbyist dispensational nonsense believed by most American evangelicals so he's not really to blame he certainly believed in it honestly himself.
I feel the same way something about the director and hearing about his father concerns me but I can’t put my finger on it. Never saw left behind. How did it well poison?

Don’t worry mate, I absolutely love bluey! Concerned for you guys down there with your mandates and police state.
Great show. Very well done. Highly recommend.
They got the Jesus face somewhat correct. Some people say he was white and some he was Jewish. But he was a Semite. Israeli for propaganda to manipulate Evangelical American use the Jesus as Jewish argument. Jesus in fact a Semite; as many genetic result of fossil found of people who lived during the time Jesus exist and he also spoke Aramaic not Hebrew.
Define semite
True, I can’t fault the man for how he was raised.
In my opinion, the series preyed on fear to sell books and scare people into being Christians. Just seemed backwards to me but maybe I missed the point.
Canaanites where people who came to Levant in 3500BC. They settle there and became their own distinct ethnic community by the time first dynasty was established in 3300BC in Egypt. In 1300BC, during the Bronze Age Collapse; many port cities were being pillages by a group of people whose exact identity is not known by historians. This caused them to flee Levant into Assyria and Arabia.
Meanwhile, in 2000BC a Sumerian by the name of Abram Ben Torah established Judaism and his teaching was first adopted by community which became a Jew majority were a African community who lived in Nile Delta. It was because Abraham preached even in Canaan. Which is by geography close to Nile Delta. They got their race name Jewish after their religion.
The ruling class of Kemites did not like Jews not seeing them as gods thus they persecuted them. When the left with Moses in 1400BC. They slowly move toward Levant and took control of it when the Sea people pillage Canaanites the next century later in the collapse mentioned above.
Before Assyria conquer Israel (Jews Levant) then disperse their population to put back Canaanites; the Canaanites settle down with invading Indo-European and other races. Which in result created a Culture and language group known as Semitic.
Jews never adopted or participated in Semitic culture and never spoke their language more then their own.
