~500 years ago a mentally ill monk was obsessed by the idea that he would not be able to get into heaven. He then had a psychiatric break, and created a new religion known as "Lutheranism" that ignored all the parts of the Bible that he didn't like and promised salvation for anyone based on faith alone.

This new "religion" quickly metastasized into a bunch of additional fake religions (that all denounced each other as false) such as "Calvinism." Savvy princes used them to seize church property and free themselves from any check on their actions, but many adherents of these fake religions began reading the Old Testament themselves, and (being retards) decided that the modern parasitic and evil ethnic group known as "Jews" were the same ethnic group as the Israelites from Bible even though the Bible makes pretty clear that they aren't, not that this should even matter anyways since their entire religion is about faith in Jesus alone, which jews lack, plus Jesus spends most of the Gospels telling us how jews are massive pieces of shit. This is what happens when you let the peasants think for themselves; they literally can't get anything right. It should be noted that this mainly happened in nations that did not have direct experience with the jews, such as in England where they had been expelled several hundred years before and had no presence. Luther himself hated the jews.

Jews took advantage of this situation and began funding and helping spread the new fake religions, and we see them gaining political power in many fake religion nations such as England and the Netherlands. From there, a particularly insane and wacky group of fake religionists known as "Puritans" began to arise in England. These Puritan fake religionists were too insane for the moderate Anglican fake religionists, and they were told that maybe it would be better if they went and lived somewhere else (just like their heroes!).

These Puritans then went to America, created a new nation that didn't just tolerate their insane fake religion but actually based the entire government and founding principle on it, and turned it loose. America, being founded as an explicitly atheist government (1st amendment) had literally zero defense against the inevitable jewish parasite invasion that began about a century later. With no centralized king or state church to keep a lid on things, the jews created an even faker and gayer religion known as "Evangelicalism" which literally worships the modern jewish ethnic group, tells its adherents that they must politically support the nation state of Israel, and perverts every principle of the original real religion of Christianity into what we can basically just call political Judaism.

Given the presence of Babylon in the prophecy, it seems clear to me that "Israel" in Revelation is not a nation inhabited by the sons of the Pharisees, but the metaphorical title for the complete congregation of the followers of God, or the sum of modern scripture beholden Christians.
