What was life like for Poles during the USSR?
What was life like for Poles during the USSR?
better
simply stunning and fabulous
slaves like always
Two generations of selecting for the most subversive and vile to breed the most.
Current state of the state is a reflection of it.
Still everyone for himself, still everyone trying to fuck over the next man, still everyone posturing holiness.
But there are more people who have a spine and just don't participate in the rat olympics, being a part of the west and having access to the globomarket, not being dependent only on domestic, shit stuff allows that.
It was shit. You had to wait 7h+ in line in order to get something from the grocery store, thus said only if you were lucky and shit wasn't sold out by the time it was your turn. You took every opportunity to earn USD because any luxury item you could only buy with USD on the black market. You had to wait months or even years to get even a bicycle or things of the same manner. It was pretty much the same as living in the DDR, only more shit.
When I was there in 1972 I saw a fat man with poop in his pants eating from a can of soup.
stalin had a cadre of specially trained poles who would lick his boots clean, scrub his toilet etc
in post-yugoslavia i remember stores like this one in the pic, but they were remnants from the communist days and they werent actally stores in the traditional sense, more like small warehouses where there were only a few items by design, like only flour, bread, sugar and salt, and these items were cheaper there. but there were normal stores as well.
Pretty terrible. No ability to get anywhere in life except the bottom of a vodka bottle
I only remember what it was for my childhood. And I shit you not there was no grass or trees growing in my neighborhood until 92. So when I think about that time I remember everything being dusty and brown. Now when I visit my mom everything is green and vibrant.
Poles cant be trained. They are lower than monkeys.
It was shit, no point of living Just getting drunk everyday in a Hope that you'll off your self by accident
Why do these countries who got out of russian influence don't want to go back at all costs, why?!
People don't remember it well. There's not much of commie nostalgia
It costs money to grow and maintain green life in urban places. That's why poor cities look so dusty.
I am 23 how tf should I know ?
>Why do these countries who got out of russian influence don't want to go back at all costs, why?!
Meh...who wants to live under shitty Russian rule that abuses you at every step of life?
they miss being young and healthy, not communism
It was shit.
It didn't matter how much effort you put into things you will still receive the same standard of life as some useless lazy slobs.
The only real way to succeed was to be in a commie party.
People who were promoted and who had amy executive positions were commies from the party, merits didn't matter.
Quality of products was shit, food was bad, cars were bad, houses were bad.
Jobs sucked, there were no freedom of press, and you could have your life ruined for saying something bad about the party or communism.
People who say it was good are most probably oldfags that are filled with nostalgia and think that times were great because they were young or some young retards who have not experienced it.
Poland was such a shithole it improved economically under communism
loltard
Communist regimes basically promoted dysgenics:
>perform a classicide (try to exterminate as many talented/succesful people as possible)
>promote alcoholism
>remove national selection (people are pressured to marry as early as possible to jump in a queue for housing).
47%? I would rather tend to believe it's 4.7%
bullshit map
Yes, because a lot of people experienced hardship during the transition period. Doesn't mean that it shouldnt've happened though.
then why don't Germans feel nostalgic about the past?
Did they actually poll people who lived under Communism? I'm fairly certain the population of all those countries never lived under Communism.
