It was extremely white-centric just a few decades ago. The church openly supported the "Curse of Canaan" theory, that is that Blacks are the cursed descendants of Cain and they're only black because of the curse and they're banned from priesthood and the temples because of that. Brigham Young, the 2nd modern prophet in our church and basically the founder of Utah, endorsed slavery and said race mixing should carry the death penalty. In recent decades the church leadership cucked out massively on race but culturally we're all still very White-centric. Non-Whites tend not to vibe with our morality or our members so even if it's not explicitly pro-White we do still wind up being quite White and I hear some in Utah are still giga-racist. That's maybe an exaggeration but I hope it's true.

No you retard, Mormonism succeeds for a wide variety of reasons. The main being
1. They have been around much longer and have access to more resources.
2. They are tolerated by the system and it's minions.
3. They are culty, this doesn't require religious belief.
It's true. The way of living is the most important thing, but unless it is believed in a religious sense it will fail to take root. I see religion as a form of technology meant to facilitate the purposes of life, providing community, purpose and direction towards a right way of living. Some religions are better at this than others. Most of American Christendom is not. Only a religion that provides and requires devotion has salvific power against the tides of the failing world.
I'd come up with a slightly different list.
1. They've been preppers waiting for the boogaloo basically since their founding. They're ready for shit to pop off at a moment's notice.
2. Their own alternate economy. They rarely have to buy things from non-mormons.
3. Large social safety-net funded through tithing, deseret industries, etc.
4. large families encouraged, young marriage, sexual liberation/feminism not tolerated.

Prophets have been flawed and will continue to be- The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends Toward Justice. also- its the curse and mark of cain not canaan- larp harder. brigham young and alot of elements of the early church were pretty shitty and had the wrong ideas on many things. what the church offers today is a pretty potent and spiritually uplifting message of inclusion and family- look at the actions of the missionaries and the way they go to under developed countries- learn their languages and partake in their culture- is there racist elements within the church? sure but there is a side that takes the example of christ and genuinely does their best to make the world a better, less unequal place
