My cat has been indoor-outdoor all her life. She is approaching 20 years old. A little while ago she caught a sparrow and my initial reaction was to stop her. I ended up letting her do her thing because I didn't want to deal with what would end up being a dying bird. She ate it and left almost nothing.

My dog ate 4 baby jackrabbits, swallowed them whole. It was awesome
