You're overlooking that the covid "vaccines" are a novel gene therapy treatment that had never before been used on humans and that they had to change the definition of "vaccine" in order to call it a vaccine.
Many covid "anti-vaxxers" are pro vaccines as defined by the pre-2020 definition of a vaccine.
