I am going to wyoming in September. Tell me what to expect and do besides yellowstone and grand tenton. Are american girls as easy as they say btw?

I am renting a car and driving through from the east. Is anything worth seeing besides the parks? Any towns or food places?

I am planning to see mount rushmore. It seems like one of the few landmarks that will actually impress me. I wish Americans had more identity and put more money into creating impressive structures and monuments to their wealth. DC, the San Fran bridge, and Rushmore are all that seem cool to me. The rest is so souless and cheap. I guess mormon churches make interesting statements but in pictures look very epstien-esque.

There's lots of beautiful country out here.
Basically anywhere outdoors that's not Cheyenne, Jackson, Laramie, Sheridan, Casper... etc.
Cities are cities no matter where you go.

Its not super impressive, but its definitely worth a visit. My recommendation, while you're there, go see Badlands National Park and the Custer State forest. Also go drive through the black hills. Its gorgeous. In Hills City, there is a restaurant called Alpine House. Its cash only, and their iceberg salad with homemade ranch is damn good.

Excellent, ill wave at you when you drive past.
For food in the area go to the Alpine Inn in hill city its probably the second best restaurant in the area. Lunch there ideally, dinner menu is decent but nothing to write home about.
Do not pay to go into crazy horse, place is a shithole
Badlands are nice but make sure you stick to the big highways so you dont get ambushed by natives looking for money
Custer state park is great too, dont pet the fuzzy cows but do stop and look at the prairie dogs.
Mammoth site in hot springs is decent
Bear Country USA is neat too but you probably got bears at home

Went to the area last year. The only thing worth doing at Crazy Horse is going to the top, and its not worth that donation amount to do it. I watched the sunrise at Big Badlands Overview, and despite the crowd of photographers, it was well worth it. Wall, SD is a tourist trap. Go once, and get out.

Deadwood SD, explore the black hills more. Look up the scenic drives there. DO SPEARFISH CANYON
