China isn't going to invade Taiwan, Russia isn't going to escalate and they've been pretty afraid to escalate beyond their half-assed attempt at a "war" already. The EU isn't going to escalate except maybe Poland and Hungary who seem to want to form their own sphere of influence which is hotly opposed with the Russian and German spheres. But Germany and Russia seem to have more than enough domestic problems, so if anything we may be seeing the birth of new spheres - not collapses and world war.
