Work AT LEAST 10 hours a day or you're a slave. The ideal work week is 1-2 days on, but each shift is 16+ hours. Any day where you have to spend time getting up early, getting ready, commuting back and forth just to "have" three hours at the end of the day before you need to sleep again, is NOT living. Thus having as few of these ruined days a week but enough hours to pay for things if the ideal scenario.
