Why do people waste so much resources on this?

An entire industry dedicated to unnaturally maintaining an ecosystem that desperately wants to return to a forest.

the jew fears green

I live in the desert. I grow a lawn around my house to keep the dust down when it's windy.
It's always windy.

Boomers

I’m about to be a home owner and I hate the thought of being outside in 100 degree weather fighting a losing battle against nature. I’m thinking I’m gonna pave everything and make sand and rock gardens. Fuck grass man.

A man needs a clear zone around his house out to standard rifle range for effective defensive fighting. It may as well look nice while you're at it. OP has no conception of this because he lives in his mom's basement and has nothing to be proud of except for the voluntary withdrawal of his defective genetics from the gene pool.

did op offend you?

Its mans pathetic attempt at domesticating nature (it wont work).

Today, OP was based beyond belief.

this thread is gay

It's an everlasting fight in which the journey is the destination.

How can he offend me with only 1 post by that ID?

He’s probably just a boomer that likes one upping his neighbor with his extensive knowledge of lawn maintenance and other topics that are generally useless to be considered a productive use of resources and time.

> journey is the destination.
doing shit just for the sake of doing it is peak jewery.

It's a green desert.
A corpse on life support.
A worthless status symbol from the past.

I hate it.

Like letting your women fuck and suck Mohammed?

mutts law lol. like pottery

yeah. you should be growing food on that thing

>t. nigger
niggers dont mow their lawns

Just another form of "compensating". Think yeeyee trucks.

It's the food's food.
Are you some kind of herbivore?

Lawns exist because rich people needed to practice their golf game and poor people have to imitate rich people. Before that everyone had gardens.

?

Us as primates being scared of big cats crawling in the tall grass. The ones that did not shape the land around them got eaten. Also reduces habitat of other potentially dangerous animals (insects, snakes, rodents). Also the will of humanity to facefuck nature whenever they can.

You just plan to let your house be overtaken by said forest in a couple of years?

It's a testament to man's hubris and futile attempt to control nature.

Fuck you all. My lawn is lush and green year round. Play catch with my son while my German Shepards run and tackle each other. I'll have years of outdoor enjoyment and memories made on that grass that I gladly maintain in this desert I live in.

Grass is basically farmland but it supports livestock instead of plants.

No sir, I’m gonna do what another user suggested and make sand and rock gardens.

it allows you too see if an invading force is approaching your home.

you say it like a boomer mowing his lawn is doing it because he has bunch of cows. a very likely scenario.

When your son turns 16 he will sneak into the basement with the dog at night and coax the dog into moubt him. Not only will son be a faggot, but he will be a furfag.

if you just let it grow like a faggy meadow then its unusable, full of ticks and bugs, and rodents that will get in house.

Boomers and HOA kikes want everything sterile and unnatural, or paved over and grey. The jew fears the Polyculture lawn.

Not my argument at all.
My lawn can't support a herd anymore than a family garden could supply their fruit and vegetable needs. In both cases you'd need at least 40 acres and it would be a full time job.
Dealing with these needs at commercial scale is smarter than doing it individually.
This doesn't mean there's anything wrong with smaller, decorative farms (gardens) and pastures (lawns) for hobby, aesthetic, and leisure purposes.
