In fact, if you are Ukrainian and are afraid of conscription, just look at the list of diseases for which you cannot be conscripted. Also consider the option of obtaining temporary unfit status, this allows you to leave the country. As a last resort, not a single draft evader has yet received a real prison term, only suspended sentences.

This is the reason why every time conscription was attempted it failed miserably in Australia. Australians have no dignity nor do they give a fuck about throwing their lives away so they will happily shit themselves in the office in front of a recruiter if it means they don't have to fight.
