National Socialism is a chiliastic idea, which means it’s a utopian idea that aims to perfect life on Earth. There are a lot of these, in fact virtually every modernist ideology is one of them. When did people start dreaming up perfect heavens on Earth? When did they stop believing in a past Golden Age we had declined from? All the ancients clearly believed this. And none of the ancient Christians talked about anything like perfection on Earth. But at some point heretics began to construct three-age hypotheses: the Old Testament was the age of the Father, post Incarnation the age of the Son, and at some point in the future, the Age of the Holy Spirit. This idea was around about the 6th century, but was crushed by the ancient Church. After the schism, it re-emerged in the West via Joaquim of Fiore iirc his name correctly. This was picked up by both Franciscans and the other monastic branch. One of them rejected it at first, but both eventually had different traveling priests preaching it. Look up the Munster rebellion and the weirdo chiliastic cult that popped up there. Marx called them proto communists.

So in a certain sense, it emerges from Christianity and probably never would’ve become so potent without it. But this “Christianity” is heretical and not at all mainstream. So Hitler was a National Socialist. He completely unwittingly erected a chiliastic ideology to compete with another chiliastic ideology, communism. He didn’t do this because he was either Christian or atheist. He did it because he was a part of the spirit of the age, and we in the West are trapped in these ideas.
