Why hasn't psychiatry reduced violent crime or suicide?

Psychology isn't a science. So it's really no better than if your dumb aunt who believed allergies don't exist, you're just being picky were in charge of helping you.

It's not a profitable business model to cure people, just keep them vaguely workable in society and pump them full of medication for a lifetime. Great profits

Because that isn't its goal
Its goal is to sell pills for things you don't suffer from by gaslighting you.

it's started to creep out that the "chemical imbalance" theory of depression is actually complete bunk

Because most of the people there are jewish, masonic or other sociopaths.

t. obvious autist with textbook symptons diagnosed with a dozen of different labels except autism by COHENcidence

It actually increases the problem. Look up the origins and who and why started it. I recommend the Culture of Critique as a starter.

Because its all supposition or most of it is

Aren't they now saying they haven't proven the connection between depression and neurotransmitter levels?

Doctors are pieces of shit that will diagnose you with depression and prescribe you pills to"cure" it without first ever even asking the patient about their lifestyle. If they really think someone is depressed they should be asking things like "What's your lifestyle like? How much activity do you perform? What do you eat on a regular basis?" and tell you to change your lifestyle to be healthier, but instead they just hand out pills like candy.

More gays.

The history about allergies seem to be suspicious and some treatments work (such as progressive exposure).

>why hasnt psychoatry reduced violent crime or suicide
Why hasnt fast food reduced obesity and heart disease?

Every “antidepressant” and “antipsychotic” has massive detrimental effects on natural hormone production. This is what people should be looking at.

Fast food wasn't marketed as the solution to obesity. The entire point of psychiatry was supposed to be fighting mental illness the way regular medicine fights physical illness.

>Why hasn't psychiatry reduced violent crime or suicide?

I suffer from chronic Depression, when i stopped taking the meds I started having suicidal feelings, psychiatric medicine helps but does not solve the problem.

Perhaps if the study of lobotomies would not have been defunded we might have got a real solution to chronic Depression, also lobotomies would be the ultimate solution to solve the problem of violent criminals.

Seems doubtful that entire sections of the brain going bad are the cause of mental illness. Lobotomies mostly just worked the same way tranquilizers or physical restraints do. If you cut out enough of the brain the person that brain belonged to will be less responsive and easier for other people to manage. Prisons would be the less fucked up version of that.

Why hasn't diet food reduced obesity and heart disease?

Big nosed voodoo researchers seem to have implied they micromanage your life to be horribe enough to become overstimulation, then this causes a focus of overactivity in yuor brain (similar to epilepsy) and this alteration can cause lots of different problems depending on they are located.

The serotonin hypothesis was literally an after-the-fact guess at why Zoloft worked and no serious scientist has believed it in 20 years

Marketing has nothing to do with the why. Marketing only has to do with the why inasmuch as it helps explain why people were hoodwinked by the marketing to believe nonsense.
But to refute your point too, plenty of fast food is marketed as healthful. Organic chipotle! Low cal subway jared! Diet coke! Etc. the point is no product exists to eradicate its own demand. Thats nigger brain tier asininity.

Psychology is a pseudo science designed to bring individual thinkers back to the hers mindset. That's why they rely on medication so heavily.

Psychiatry doesn't change your world. It always blames you for not being able to cope.

How can I say this?....oh, yes...

It's about the JOBS. It really, REALLY is about the JOBS.

Psychology, while mostly nonsense, is unironically less of a hoodwink than psychiatry. Psychology advocates behavioral change while psychiatry advocates medical intervention that often has no data to back up its efficacy but actually poisons and cripples you permanently.
