WW2 killed 80~ million people, what would a genuine WW3 look like? 200-300 million people? Half a billion? The entire global economy gone in a year or two? People no longer live lives that can survive a world war, we no longer have grandmas veggie patch, we no longer have chickens, most homes can't even warm themselves or cook with wood if they need to, most people can't get to work by walking or cycling, all of our economies proved during covid how fucked they are with even a slight disruption to the system.

We're going to have isolated proxy wars until humanity finally sputters out and dies, but World Wars? I doubt we'll ever see one again.
