This is the only man that matters in U.S. politics. He linked the heckin bonfire by establishing the federal reserve, created the modern day borders of the middle east, created the league of nations to predate NATO, attempted to master the military industrial complex and failed.
He said that he was chosen by god to lead the United States, and in that he is correct, but he was incorrect in assuming he was meant to bring about it's salvation.
I don't understand why rightwingers want private bankers in control of the US economy. I don't understand what on Earth makes you think private bankers manipulating our currency and economy for profit would be a good thing.
That's why we have the federal reserve. So those functions and that power are applied for public good, rather than profit of billionaires
Before the federal reserve things were real bad. America was a dystopia. It made things so much better for us, no one can historically deny that except low info insane rightwingers who get brainwashed by libertarian thinktanks funded by private bankers
Thomas Lewis
Yes Wilson started the modern American hegemony by declaring war on Germany. Too bad it didn't last because America decided to go bankrupt funding its military
Blake Thomas
isn't this the faggot who, in the end, shamefully accepted that he ruined the US?
The federal reserve decreased wealth inequality, stopped bank runs, instituted a mandatory minimum reserve of your money that banks can't just lend out (thus federal "reserve") and took over the power to manipulate our currency from privateers. You guys are insane wanting to "abolish it" or whatever stupid thing. I don't know why rightwingers are such cucks to ultra wealthy people and privateers. Especially private bankers
Unironically my DS reference was somewhat accurate.
The federal reserve is the linking of the bonfire to humanity. Times are better, but only while the bailouts continue, and every now and then there needs to be an economic collapse to satiate the fire.
Over time specific people learned to game the system, and are favored in bailouts, causing the economic recession to accelerate in pace, as the purchasing power of the middle class is decimated by not just predictable, but pre determined markets.
To actually critique the federal reserve is a very advanced topic I hope to someday do. It will take me many years of studying to do it. I am only debating it now under the assumption you are a twitter tard reading history off Wikipedia.
>I don't know why right wingers are such cucks to ultra wealthy people and privateers. >Voted for Biden who used quantitative easing for bailouts to elites
Yeah just Wikipedia users ITT. But some day I aspire to challenge actual economists.
That's not true, the fed is run by publicly appointed officials
Lucas Martinez
This is just a wall of incoherent gibberish with not a single rational reason why you think the power of the federal reserve should be taken from voter's hands and put into the hands of unaccountable private bankers operating purely for their own profit and self-interest
Andrew Russell
>That's not true, the fed is run by publicly appointed officials PS this is really basic stuff by the way. I mean if you're running around yelling "abolish the fed" you should know something like this. You should at least know what it is before you opt to abolish it first. It's just an example of how really insane rightwingers are and how horrifying it is in their lack of information
Bentley Turner
People who hate Wilson are fucking retarded. Teddy Roosevelt was worse in every category. The Fed was going to be created regardless of who was president, but Wilson's fed was 100x better than the Republican's planned Fed. Also Wilson gave it a expiration date while Calvin Coolidge made the fed permanent.
Yeah the republicans wanted it to be all private interests. Basically handing over state power to totally private interests. Giving control of our entire economy and government to privateers, essentially. Pure evil stuff
Jordan Anderson
>Power of the federal reserve from voters hands Lmfao no way you are typing this without stuttering.
The defense of the federal reserve is the elitist view that peasants not having money isn't a concern, and that the military industrial complex should be perpetually extended, not whatever you are talking about.
Thomas Ortiz
I don't even know what point you'd think you're making by posting that video. The federal reserve is our collective public oversight of the banking industry. It's only a modest and mild public oversight because of the rightwingers in the republican party who oppose it now and opposed it then when it was established, but it's still the only public oversight we have. It's a really good thing. It makes our society so much better. So much more egalitarian. It puts so many restrictions and regulations on private bankers to stop them from screwing their customers and as such our society over in so many ways
Landon Barnes
> the fed is run by publicly appointed officials great so how do i vote them into office? surely i dont have to rely on individual private interests to represent my vote
fuck off jew
James Kelly
This is just gibberish dude. You just threw pretentious-sounding words and phrases like "peasants" and "military industrial complex" and "perpetually extended" into a soup and clicked "post". It's literally entirely incomprehensible gibberish. Incredible
Camden Clark
You do vote them into office. They're appointed by the president and congress
Christopher Gonzalez
>Confused by the concept of lower class and subsidy >Talking about economics Silence retard, at least copy viewpoints from your leaders.
Henry Barnes
>You do vote them into office. They're appointed by the president and congress PS I don't know how you wouldn't know this. Like that's amazing to me. It's truly amazing to me how low-information rightwingers are. Esp when they're bitching about the federal reserve or anything pertaining to economics
Adrian Baker
>>surely i dont have to rely on individual private interests to represent my vote dunno why you have so much trouble reading two sentences
Benjamin Wood
>He said that he was chosen by god to lead the United States, and in that he is correct, but he was incorrect in assuming he was meant to bring about it's salvation. kek
Josiah Price
I don't hate him for the fed, I hate him for the draft, mass state control of industry, and creation of the global agriculture bubble that directly contributed to the Great Depression.
James Peterson
>Jekyl island meeting. >Wealthy bankers conspire to establish federal reserve >Obviously conspired to set up an institution to limit their own powers and establish oversight over their own private institutions. I hope you're getting paid well for posting this nonsense
