To win this war fast, Russia will need to mobilize

Say it isn't so. Russia will need to mobilize for real and send half a million additional soldiers (men and girls) to Ukraine. Only then can it take Odessa and Moldova and Dnjepr and Kiev.

To win this war fast Russia needs a time machine and a competent government

Forget what happened in the past. Now, you need the manpower and womanpower to march towards the large cities.

What about childrenpower? I guess those could work at the factories

Is there even any mobilization going on?

Strictly speaking, Russia doesn't need to win this war. Putin needs to win this war to retain power, but if Russia loses, nothing's going to fucking happen to it. They just don't get to have Ukraine.

They haven't even significantly increase weapons manufacturing, let alone mobilize citizens

It's nice that the Russian Mod briefs the UK MOD, ISW & BBC in what its objectives are otherwise it would be just worthless speculation amounting to jerking off into a ceiling fan.

They can just keep doing exactly what they are doing and the Ukrainian government will collapse under its own weight. They can't even pay their bills right now, let alone when winter comes.

We will just give them more money. Russian economy on the other hand...

Strelkov we know it's you, get off the VPN.

Large sections of that map are going to become russia through referendums soon. Mobilisation not required.

Russia is using a fraction of its professional army
most of it are waiting for NATO to make a move
it's also safe to assume that Russia isn't using all the best tools in Ukraine as to not reveal the power level to US
so, if there will be a need, Russia could just use more of the professional army without the need of mobilization
also DNR and LNR have professional armies and have been fully mobilizied

it's all a slow but a steady process with the aim to minimize military and civilian casualties

I'd unironically just "trust the plan", as Putin has yet to fail strategically in all these years

They need 9 billion monthly. Better start looking under the couch.

> I'd unironically just "trust the plan", as Putin has yet to fail strategically in all these years
Kyiv lol.

Biden will surely find some billions that aren't needed in USA

Russia can bleed the west into submission.
They own all the raw materials Europeans were using.

>win fast
I’ve seen a bunch of shit about how Russia is shit because they didn’t overrun the country in a week. Maybe I’m wrong but it seems drawing it out is screwing the west more than it is them. What am I missing

Exceptionally good points, user. But Russia has already gain d q bunch of territory it is categorically not going to lose to th fucking hohols. Russia is grinding at a sustainable level now and probably will keep grinding for a few years. If it doesnt get much more in that period, whatever. They can reach a peace accords and keep what they have once the West is in a war with China over Taiwan.

yeh no shit, I wonder what sort of mental gymnastics Putin and his senior commanders go through on a daily basis denying this reality.

Vatnigger cope

the absolute /cope/ in this post.

Pfft printed trillions for covid can print some more billions easily.

it’s nearly six months since the ivasikn began, the autumn rains are coming and will turn the Ukrainian countryside into a bog thus limiting movement to roads and the ziggers keep re-hashing /cope/ from earlier in the year…

You know when you take a piss and its all dark orange and stinks bad?
Its good that you excreted such bad matter from your body, but its a sign a symptom that something is wrong internally. it can be a flu or a cold or something bad you ate. It can be something more serial.
On a direct note, the attack on Kiev in the first few weeks was a smart move, reasonable attempt of a headshot that was somewhat costly but exposed the true level of involvement from the west.
And the strategic regrouping and establishment of a single front in the east is a reasonable maneuver, when you understand and evaluate the western threat and level of involvement.
Now its a question of who can maintain this situation longer.
What will winter bring with it.

The average Russian citizen can’t even find spare parts for his imported Western vehicle, many such cases.
