If she makes $1000 a month roughly and her husband makes $1000 a month roughly (which is insanely low at 14 and 16 an hour, definitely not full time), but daycare costs $1300/month, then why doesn't one of them quit their job and care for the child full time? They save $300 on childcare AND qualify for food stamps.

Have you actually lived around poor people? They play up the sympathy cards, but as a whole they are extremely unimpressive and prone to criminal behavior. You tend to start hating poor people when you live in a poor neighborhood and you goddamn neighbor stabs someone in your lawn over drugs.
