First off, today was the first I heard about Paul walker possibly being a job. A quick 2 second search says walked was rumored to hand info on the Clinton foundation…. And was going to come forward…. Does anybody have more details on this? I know he did a lot of save the world shit for kids/fund raising ect. It does seem possible he would run into the klinton foundation, He did work in Haiti as did klintens.

2005 carrera gt’s did in fact have “throttle by wire”. I’m not familiar with Porsche ecu’s, but with “throttle by wire” there is no cable. That’s is sensor on the throttle that sends a signal to the ecu which opens the throttle. All it would take is something like this device ecstuning.com/Porsche-2005-Carrera_GT-980-Base-Convertible-V10_5.7L_M80.01/Maintenance/Diagnostics/ Plugged into the obd port. Somebody with understanding of Porsche ecu’s would be able to wirelessly connect to the ecu (usually the car has to be not running but there are ways around that). Once connected, somebody with detailed understanding of Porsche ecu’s could very well send the signal for max throttle. That car is so fast, the second or two if would take the driver to recognize the issue and attempt to react is more than enough to get the car sideways in the middle of a turn. The traction control sould also have to be off via the driver, or it could also be shut off via the obd connection
Cars rarely catch fire in accidents. It does happen though. It’s also rare for a person with actual track experience to push a car so hard on the streets. They say old tires…. A race drier wirh track experience would be able to identify the lack of grip and use steering/brake/throttle inputs as to not over drife the car. I have seen many track days my self

Ok user. I have built a few “quick” 4g63 powered cars. The current race car is 500ish whp, awd, 4 bias ply slicks, and not allowed back at thd track for more f than 1 pass until i get a cage. I also have another 4g63 powered car that I auto-x/track day with. There are some odd things about the crash user. I can’t say I’m close to sure he got murked, but some things don’t add up.
