I was just reading about Nineveh (the ancient capital of the Assyrian empire) and found out the ruins of the old gate were destroyed by ISIS (fed ran glowop). It got me thinking that maybe it isn’t just White people being targeted, it’s everyone.

This is a sad moment for me because I just recently became more interested in antiquity and was reading The Persian Expedition by Xenophon and was reading how in awe the Greeks were at the ruins in Nineveh, so I decided to google search Nineveh and see if any ruins still existed, they do, and ISIS destroyed them.
