Much of religion is blasphemy invented for political control. Christianity is full of examples where ideas against christ's teaching were introduced later for political (worldly) power. These are blasphemies that replaced christ's teaching to make church fathers into kings and emperors. Take the myth of hell for example. It's not in the bible. 13 different words used by christ were DELIBERATELY mistranslated from the original greek to create the terror tool of "punishment in hell". This allowed Pharisee church fathers and kiked monarchs to subvert christ's teaching and breed better goycattle slaves. This world is literally hell, ruled over by kikes and bugmen who love being slaves more than they love God.

Jesus is something like an "ultimate and final redeeming ancestor spirit". It is a useful representation for escaping or avoiding man made Hells. This is true whether you believe that it is due to the power of faith or you believe that evolution has produced a useful psychological pattern for avoiding selection events (death).
That such a mechanism is exploitable is also true but it doesn't mean that you have a better solution to the problem the mechanism of religion is designed around solving. That being: how do we relate to each other in our subjective diversity? If you have a solution which is also non-exploitable, congratulations, you have discovered the holy grail and you should quickly share it with the world.

Relating the subjective diversity of beings? How is that a problem, what would the world look like if said "problem" was "solved"? Relations don't exist without organisms and organisms are purposeless. God is just the primordial chaos which precedes and follows the organisms, it is just death. The problem isn't relating all of these different beings, death has already claimed them all. To me, the problem is defining oneself, testing the limits of one's own organism, and Struggling in vain to conquer death. The fact that other people cannot even vaguely comprehend this concept is proof that they are nothing more than sick organisms, pathetic doomed animals. There's simply no saving someone from their own weakness.

You just restated the problem without solution. How do organisms without access to perfect knowledge of the future relate to each other such that the total supra-organism of life continues indefinitely.
Religio, or binding stories, are one way that organisms which communicate through narrative logos work through behavior sets statistically to optimize behavior faster than simple embodied error testing which most animal organisms engage in.
Religion and more generally: persuasive narrative sharing, are the primary emergent tools we have developed for solving the problem of self identification which minimizes intra-social conflict, particularly in the face of large outside threats from raiders and slavers (predation).
Relgi9n is far deeper and biological than a mere tool of the powerful. Critiquing religion shallower for its corruptions is easy. Positing a superior solution to the problem which religion attempts to keep at bay is far more challenging. Failing to do so out of frustration and running with the shallow narrative of power has been tried and what you get is bolshevism and soviet state worship which is even more prone to corruption.

Pic related. Memes are the DNA of the soul of man. The first states man built were worshipped as seats of divine power with the leader himself being divine by right of material supremacy. The vision of the head of state was the divine word of law. Worship of the state has always been man's first solution to the identity and stability problem. The issue with the divine right if kings is that kings are not gods and very easy to corrupt. Gods are the collections of feedbacks from the environment which cannot be ignored if survival is to be maintained. The ultimate God is reality itself and the signals it sends which have primacy over all narrative constructs. Only if constructed states of man are ordered underneath the primacy of reality can they hope to endure. This is the lesson man learned and finally wrote down into a canonical 'word'. The elevation of logos guided by reality to the highest thing of worship became the key idea which drove the west to primacy. The search for its final form which will bring external life (the grail) is the scientific/alchemical pursuit.
