How do we convince all the pedophiles to take the literal poison pill? Think of all the man hours we will save vs tracking them down and dragging them to wood chippers. I guess we could bring the wood chippers to them but still, easier if they self correct.

I'd honestly rather have a world with pedophiles in it than a world with vigilantes who fantasize about woodchipping people.
If I could pick one or the other, I'd pick the pedophiles.
Vigilantes mistarget and kill innocents. They stall social progress. They traumatize people and render society untrustworthy.
Pedophiles only do one of those three things (traumatizing people and rendering society untrustworthy) and I'm convinced that there's a "social progress" answer to child molestation. I think humanity is in the process of discovering it and that child molestation rates have been declining during a liberal apex.
It stands out to me that more children got molested historically than get molested today. Which do you oppose, pedophiles or child molestation? I oppose child molestation itself. I don't think vigilantism does as much to reduce child molestation as demystifying sexuality and upholding high relationship standards.
