LEAF BROS NOOOOOOOOOO

>medical association restricts labor pool to make more money
>surprised when no staff
they brought it on themselves

Yeah our health care system has always sucked. Add to that the record number of migrants we had in 2020, at the height of the scamdemic, and foreign students/ workers who are offered citizenship quietly. Doesn't help when a bunch of nurses were fired for not getting their third booster.

>It's Not Burnout, It's Moral Injury | Dr. Zubin Damania on Physician "Burnout"
>youtube.com/watch?v=L_1PNZdHq6Q

Things weren't great in the first place and the way government and the various health districts chose to respond these past two years made absolutely everything worse. Imagine being a nurse and seeing your patients die on remdesivir and then being forced to give it again and again for nothing better than a coinflip. Imagine being a doctor who studied epidemiology, who is current and well aware with the science and state of pandemic planning pre-2020 and then suddenly your health administrators are ordering you to follow along with the total opposite.

What of your oath? What of your professional ethics? What of the doctor-patient relationship and your morality? The healthcare system can turn medical professionals into mere clinical instruments, crush their moral cores, and then drop them by the wayside when they just can't do this anymore. Canadian doctors who decided to stand up, to say "No! This is bullshit!" got attacked by their own colleges. Not only must medicine be practiced the State's Way or the Highway, but they were forbidden from discussing their legitimate concerns.
This last bit is kind of usual to leaf professions though. Mission #1 for those orgs is always protecting themselves, but usually shit isn't so fucked all at once for it to be so visible.

Good.

Good summary.
People don't realize that Canadians refusing to 'rock the boat's for decades made us already sleepwalk into totalitarianism.

Wanted to start a thread. I picked the first result. I have nothing to hide friend

As much as I am elated to see the house of cards Canadians built for themselves tumble and fall under the weight of their ineptitude, I am also very worried for the frens that might be impacted by this. Surely, in a scenario where already stressed resources will be demarcated and redistributed even more, the Canadian government, instead of backing out of the universal model to something more capitalistic, will prioritize the lives/needs of every poo skin that shows up at these doddering clinics? At the expense of the white Canuck?

There's more recent articles. Doug Ford swallowed a bee today when asked about what measures were on the table to fix Ontario's healthcare.
There's also an article today from the AP that's done some Canadian journalism, since most Canadian journalists these days are nothing more than corporate and government stenographers with delusions of grandeur. The AP takes a hard look at what's going on with Canada's medically assisted dying program. One example they found had a hospital staffer bringing up the cost to the public of the patient's healthcare and suggesting anheroing to them. Like is that something you'd expect to be compassionate and Canadian, or something you'd expect from a Any Forums shitpost?

>no mention of allowing unvaxxed doctors back to work
another planned unintended consequence

Kek

Canada's healthcare system is not collapsing. As a matter of fact our healthcare system is one of the worlds best. It is envied by shithole countries like yours.

If I get sick and need medical attention I don't have to pay a dime for it while you need to sell your house and declare bankruptcy.

Your post is full of cope and seethe.

Have fun waiting in a ward to receive treatment leafbro
And remember
You can always just let us buy you

Already has collapsed. What you're seeing is last ditch efforts. Now, watch the airlines.

Why not just cruise by any emergency room in any major city hospital and see how fucked everything is? For that matter, just take a little mental survey of how healthy all the docs and nurses look, let alone the general public.
You pay plenty in taxes but those might as well go straight to big pharma.
It is a damn shame what happened to what has been a credible system in the past.

good point, watch the airlines: but do it from the ground!

>Now, watch the airlines
This guy is a former airline COO and tweets a bunch about the unfolding airline situation. It helps provide a perspective other than the official government line for what the heck is going on and why.

it lierally is though retard. they're closing ERs in ontario, they've never done that before, not even during COVID!

Bullshit. Man died today in Nanaimo ER after 3 hours of waiting among 50 people.

All vax related too no doubt.

>takes 3 years to train a nurse
>no accelerated training course offered in the last 2.5 years

>medical staff shortage
>fire unvaccinated staff

>ask people to go to a walk-in clinic instead of clogging the ER
>walk-in clinic requires appointment, next available spot in 3 weeks

>blood donation shortage
>sell blood donations to big pharma

>have chest pain after clotshot
>dismissed by ER after 36 hour wait because "young and healthy"

>staff shortage
>chain mandatory double shifts back-to-back to induce burnouts

>order millions of clotshot dos
>contract still classified for fear of competition despite all competitors failing safety studies
