USA employment Time theft

Wtf even is this, I never heard of it until my online American friend mentioned it and got fired at his office over it. I looked it up online, and got results for Canada, here time theft is only if you clock in or claim hours you didn't work or showed up too. But in the USA they take this 10 levels higher in a lot of States and make time theft "excessive bathroom breaks " and literally punishing employees the moment they take a 5 minute breather, or even if they clock out 10 minutes over thier shift actually working they get in shit. My American friend got fired for completing his tasks early, and they claimed he time theft 1 hour of every shift even though he was scheduled to stay that one hour. He left and stayed on his scheduled time.

What in the fuck is wrong with American buisness and corporate America with communist tier time theft work laws and fire at will bullshit , who was the jew that thought of time theft

Bro wtf, I'm often 5 minutes late and they never say anything about it

Canadians produce so little nobody would notice it was theft or not.

we have the same time theft laws you do your friend is either retarded or lying if he actually got fired for taking bathroom breaks he should get a lawyer

>completing his tasks early
we all have to learn our lessons. next time, slow down.

>HR girls gone wild

low level service workers who can’t manage their schedule

Time to find a new job.

We produce a whole lot of seethe for you it seems shartlander

i worked at a place where they wouldnt let you clock in and start working a minute before your shift started, but they expected you to show up early before your shift starts to ready to start working the moment your shift starts. im a special snowflake so i clocked in/out whenever.

They're among the most-responsible for making workplaces so insufferably prison-like that the actual productive members of society cut their losses and work the bare minimum in these dystopian Jewish shitholes.

How do we fix or abolish HR

there is a trend of managers getting a past job working at amazon or whole foods and then getting hired at other local buisnesses to fire all the employees and rehire new ones with more effcient work protocols... my roommate is a career manager and has been telling me about this trend and i have also heard from other people as well about entire staff replacements once a new manager comes in....

in fact, thats what happened at this job:
company owner hired some new hr efficiency girl and they slowly got rid of the old employees and hired a bunch of 1099 contractors to replace them for lesser wages and stricter schedules and rules. i stuck around for a while to see it change.

i remember when i first started working there, people would clock in whenever and spend the first hour of the day just chatting... 1:45minute lunch breaks clocked in as an hour, lol... i would go straight to work when i got there

Repeal women's rights

I quit that job the next day lol
>show up for work
>get called into the office
>like 4 or 5 company bigwigs and my boss and the HR bitch surrounding me at the table
>they show me a piece of paper showing I was 3 minutes late last month
>boss gives me the talk about how they've done everything in their power to be fair and accommodating and that they'd do anything possible on their end; only thing they can't do is make sure I get to work on time
>sign my shit, tell them I'm gonna go clock out
>oh no user you're still working today, you'll see your suspension kicks in 3 weeks from now when it's convenient for us
>mfw
called in sick the next day and they said I'd need to take a covid test to come back, told them hey don't worry about it I'll just come grab my last check next week

>being an hourly wage worker
lol, lmao even.

That’s just weird. I can’t believe it was worth their time to tell you that, if you’ve told the whole truth.

Yeah I used to work at a Greek Pizzaria, and had to go to the restroom, some idiot literally shoved a paper plate under the door with something written along the lines dont spend time here during working hours, since you know, you're working, got yelled for being late like 2 minutes, fuck those cunts

Typical HR slag is a psych major that decided she didn't have enough motivation to cut it in "medicine". Women going to college is the real problem.

2 minute grace period, a second later and you're getting a write up. was commuting 45 minutes to get there and they wouldn't let us park in front of the building either. I was a manager so I kinda get it but it was hard to take it seriously when I got mobbed by the executives and my boss for being 3 minutes late a month ago.

They only enforce these rules against white people because if they tried this shit with blacks they would be blasted by the media.

I think about how I'm going to complete tasks during my 1-hour post lunch walk

There's an unchecked tendency for managers to look for ways to reprimand their underlings for negligible things. It happens most-often with unfuckable female managers, typically fat or some sort of pill popper. Their lack of self-control and sexual frustration from their personal life bleeds over as emotional instability masked as business optimization. In the end, these workplaces lose their best workers, with the only ones remaining are those who do a "quiet quit" (the bare minimum) because they have a mortgage or family there, but there will be no enthusiastic teamwork there.

Management never gets PowerPoint slide inservice with multiple choice on their dry hole drying up workplace morale.
