Why doesn't America have high speed trains and good transportation? Do they prefer to spend their money on infinite wars across the world?
Also why does almost everyone dress like autistic children and are ugly and fat? Is it because carcinogens in their food that are banned in the civilized world?
>one country builds tens of thousands of miles of HSR to compensate for its micropeen >other country doesn't build HSR because it would be geographically retarded to do so
Gabriel Collins
People have cars instead of trains in Africa.
You're literally a nigger country. Cars are niggermobiles.
Ethan Perez
>nigger transport no thanks, i don't want rail, we have enough nigger transport as it.
Joshua Rogers
Sounds nice doing maintenance on 35000 km of Chinese made high speed rail.
Ian Howard
lol it's like choosing Rust instead of C you get what you deserve
Bentley Young
Americans are too heavy for the trains to carry.
Colton Kelly
Why would I get on a sweaty train to go 250 miles? There's nothing there but tiny towns and farmland.
Imagine wanting to be nut-to-butt with strangers every where you go and only stopping on timely schedules. Nah, I'll choose my car when going across country
Ayden Hall
because all of europe is about the size of texas
lots of land over here
only a few big dense cities & they have all that stuff
Andrew Nelson
Flying is faster If you don't know the pleasure and luxury of a 1.5 hour jet flight I feel bad for you
Luis Hill
One country builds the equivalent of San Diego - Seattle in one year.
The other sends weapons to Israel and Ukraine, at an higher cost.
It's not. You have to board the plane, which takes a lot of time. High Speed train is perfect for lower than 1000kms travels. For higher distances there' s Maglev, which China is also building.
>just tunnel through the contintental divide bro Ok I've spend $80 trillion, now what? It takes three times as long as flying and it's just cheap enough to be full of niggers?
Austin Garcia
Is there a chance the track might bend?
Nathan Hill
>lower than 1000kms travels Draw such a system on the lower 48.
Colton Barnes
>Why doesn't America have high speed trains and good transportation? You remember who built the current American railroads?
>two hours Hyperbole, gross. It's half an hour for domestic and you know the train will have that too, right? Haven't you been on Eurail? They even have customs checks.
James Parker
Truth is America is too poor. Can't pass a bill to repair their collapsing bridges, 10% inflation and trillions of growing debt each year.
Flying is faster. However, the only profitable non-freight rail line in the US, the Amtrak Northeast Regional, moves between Newport News, VA, and Boston MA. It's only profitable up there because of the population density in the US northeast. Even then, its sometimes cheaper and easier to just take a plane along those routes. A plane ticket between Boston and NYC can be as low as $60, while that segment of NE Regional can be between $49 - $120
Michael Bennett
It's literally twice the speed. I can be in New York City less than 45 minutes after arriving at the airport in Boston. You are delusional. Next time you post remind me you're the delusional Chink-niard so I can give you the level of seriousness you deserve.
Connor Robinson
I'm talking about the US coasts dumbass.
Jaxon Williams
>yes, i concede, HSR is a retarded option of america to pursue thank-you for wasting my time
Cameron Gutierrez
Lobby of car industry.
Liam Peterson
>I can be in New York City less than 45 minutes after arriving at the airport in Boston.
You are not in New York. You are at NYC's airport, which is far from Manhattan.
You can't just go into the airport and jump into a plane, which you can do into a train.
Accept you live in the past and don't know how the modern world works.
Dominic Peterson
You know the TSA explicitly tells you to arrive 2 hours before boarding so you don't miss your flight if you get delayed in security, right? Regardless of how long it actually takes you to personally get through security, you still should be showing up 2 hours early. Meanwhile, American train systems currently have no mandatory checkpoints, and regulations would not arrive automatically.
Bruh, I don't even give a shit about trains going east. I just want a fucking bullet train that runs parallel to the I-5 from Blaine to San Diego.
