I post about it every time I come on here, but like it's getting ridiculous at skool now how they're having announcements half in maori and they get translated into english by the teacher. Like straight up pidgin shit, with load words inserted as nouns. You literally cannot decipher it until the teacher helps you.

The night classes are filled with government workers retraining to get proficient in Te Reo. I think it's literally going to be a requirement for government jobs soon.

I feel the browns liked it when it was just their thing, which I can understand (I want whitoid spaces just as much). Having a bunch of career minded white yuppies coming in and intruding on their brown space pisses them off. Especially when those white yuppies absolutely dab on them and learn the language better in six months than some of them have in seven years.
