My biggest shock growing up was coming to realize how many scams are just accepted as part of society.
Renters insurance, car insurance, service fees, service contracts, income tax, sales tax, property tax, car registration fees, emission tests and fees, estate tax, advertising on cable TV, tipping, it just goes on and on.
Everything is a fucking scam.
You can't just decide you want X and pay Y everything has a hook or a gotcha.

The way to be better is to accept a broken system and do nothing about it? You can stand up and change things. It starts with speaking up about how shit the deal is. I guess you can call that “whining” kek. If everyone is afraid to even say something no one is ever going to do anything. You can unironically take over the world with a hundred good men. You would rather everyone keeps their mouth shut and just takes it? The system has slowly morphed to the point where we are nearly all worms writhing in dirt. Pretty soon it’s going to become a closed loop with no escape unless there are some big changes.
