I've been a PC gamer since I was 10. I built my last rig when the 1080 was $800. Some 6+ years ago now.

Why am I going to spend $2k to build a gaming PC when I can buy a Xbox series x for $500 that can do 4k 60hz easy, and even claims to do 120? All the new games are kiked anyways, I stopped using discord when it became a commie shitfest, I'll just replay old games from 10 years ago on my Xbox and PC gamers can just jerk off to trannies on Twitch and drink gamer girl pee. I'm done with it all.

You ever order anything from China? It's probably a recycled 8600gt with a cast pot metal heatsink with a nice plastic facade and RGB. Their entire culture is built on deception and theft. Gaming, in its original sense, is a thing of the past. It's not the games are necessarily worse (they are in many cases), it's more about the target audience growing up and not being replaced. Like Harry Potter for example. If the first of that series were published today, it will be nowhere near as successful as it was. Children and young adult don't read fantasy series as much as they used to, a mere decade or two ago.

My PC I built is ~8 years old by now, I was shopping around for the last year for a videocard to build a whole new PC, could not find a video card. Waitlist, lottery, signed up at nvidia, etc.. nothing. If they gave a shit about gamers, their original customers that helped them get to where they are today, they will fucking take the loss like a bitch and start selling me a fucking RTX 4080 so I can build my PC already.

Get up to date. The prices have dropped very much. Even a RTX3090 is 1000 dollars now and everything else is way cheaper. 3070 is around 500.
