I should shack up alone and isolate myself from the harshness of the world because that's the best I can do." The lefty will find friends and be quick to give them their trust.. they believe there are many people like them and they will seek them out. While the right wing man is hiding, thinking "no one else thinks like me", he does so among hundreds of millions who think the exact same thing. The left wing man will be harsh with traitors, but will be more forgiving for small deviations. This means he can crate massive, cohesive groups, where there are certain CORE things that cannot be disagreed with, but many many many smaller differences that are acceptable. The right wing man demands UTTER perfection. Every single tiny detail must be agreed upon or else he lashes out at the offending party. This makes it impossible to organize as each individual may agree on core principles of things like native homelands being ruled by native peoples or the right to free speech or the right to bear arms, but if they disagree on something inconsequential, then they must be pushed out of the group.
