Something feels odd about this. Like, it feels like a massive win for the west and the Ukrainians but it also feels fake? I dunno, hopefully if the sanctions start to bite Russia they might be willing to reopen talks with the EU on gas stuffs but as of now it seems like everyone’s going through hell during winter

When the war started they unironically thought Russia would just give back the 800~ aircraft that was loaned to their civilian airlines.
They seized them, they're now stripping them and cutting out a spare parts middleman for the time being. It's one of those things that looks like a win for the west but isn't.

And not just that. By August 23rd, the Steinisky counter offensive will be a success, and Ukrainian tanks will be in St Petersburg and Moscow.

I just sold 2 pallets worth of Boeing parts to a Russian friend.
>have 4 shell companies
>2 of them in Europe (one in Ireland one in Greece)
>also listed as co-owner of a flight school in Romania
>use that school to order via all the shell companies parts
>sell it to friend Dimitri
>we get a 1200% markup on all parts.
>we split profits
>for every $100,000 we invest we make $500,000 each
Hello Cayman Island!

That gas is never coming again, no matter what happens politically.

Putin sent the first 30,000 to die in Ukraine.
The next 30,000 to die will be screaming and crying as they plummet from the sky.

the EU is behaving like the loosers in a war

All part of the plane!

>experts have said
>the source declined to be identified
Every fucking time. Isn't it great how journos can get away with all kinds of statements by claiming that a "mysterious source" told them about it?

How will Russia win this war in two more weeks at this rate?

>It's one of those things that looks like a win for the west but isn't.
Exactly. This has been such a disaster for the west the fake news has to distort reality to keep their narrative alive, but it died a long time ago.

Okay but isn’t that as bad for Russia as it is Europe? Actually what’s europes progress on finding a semi-stable replacement for Russian gas so far anyway? I heard something about Kuwait but no way will that make up for everything

>It's actually the west that's seething that russias at the point where they need to strip aircrafts for spare parts
Sigh.

Someone's mad. OP hit a lil close to home didn't he :)

The only one losing out here is the west

russia is next to china and they're basically in military alliance. china spent the last 2 decades gaining resources all over the world. i think russia will be fine as far as gaining resources required for manufacturing.

Did you not read my post? The fact that Russia is at the point where it needs to dismantle aircrafts for spare parts is pathetic doesn't matter if they were taken from the west.

/thread

>According to aviation consultancy Ishka, $10 billion worth of planes is stranded in Russia.
>"The lessors may end up having to take a writeoff," Nick Cunningham, an analyst with Agency Partners, told Bloomberg.
600 aircraft that are loaned can't have money made off them now, can cannibalise them on the cheap due to decreased air use and may also be able to buy spares underhand in the future.
In other words, Russia never owned these aircraft in the first place. I'm sure Russia feels bad about it

Are you fucking deaf. I'm say that Russia is at the point where it needs to dismantle aircrafts just to continue.
