russia is next to china and they're basically in military alliance. china spent the last 2 decades gaining resources all over the world. i think russia will be fine as far as gaining resources required for manufacturing.

600 aircraft that are loaned can't have money made off them now, can cannibalise them on the cheap due to decreased air use and may also be able to buy spares underhand in the future.
In other words, Russia never owned these aircraft in the first place. I'm sure Russia feels bad about it
