GDP is a flawed metric. The US isn't worth that much. China has already long since surpassed it. Why is that? Industry. How much money does the US print? What goods does the US produce? Where does all the money that's printed go? What influence does the petrodollar and forcing other countries to buy dollars have on the GDP?

China's been the manufacturing hub of the world for a decade or longer now. What relevant industries does the US still have? Get the fuck real. The US is basically globohomo and the military industrial complex, that's waving its stick around, threatening everyone who doesn't play their game.

That's a cool story. Now, in how much debt is Italy right now? In how much debt is Russia? What does Russia produce that others want and likewise, what does Italy produce? To me it's clear as day that Russia is an independent country, a massive gas, oil, fertilizer and food exporter, as well as other things. What does Italy export by comparison that's more valuable than that?

These GDP metrics are based on the Dollar system, and since that's inherently flawed and since countries control their own currencies in whatever way they best see fit (Russia's taking measures to prevent the Ruble from gaining too much value), it's safe to say that it's all a load of horseshit. Russia's production capabilities in some sectors even match the US' (steel and iron, for instance, oil and gas too, or at least they're highly competitive at it).

Shit's all fake and gay. And unless Poland invents some new tech that everyone needs, like practical, affordable, safe and reliable fusion energy or anti-gravity tech, it will never ever be in the top of anything, except butthurt. Seems like this winter is going to be awful for the Poles, seeing how they're low on gas and all... for us other Europeans too, some more than others.

GDP shows real incomes at present. it's just that the resources have the wrong market value, and I don't understand how the first economists of the planet ignored the fact that the gas on which the plant operates is less important than Italian shoes, which are more expensive than gas. either the elite has degraded, or a big nose is working here.

Europe can survive without Russian gas. It will be hard at the beginning, but later on new sources and new technologies are going to fix everything.

Light pollution is better way to measure real economical growth than GDP numbers, actually. Chinese geopoliticians use measurement of light pollution from satellites to assess real power of countries around the world.
