Libertarians let anyone who isn't the state walk all over them, including those who are explicit allies of the state. They are either ignorant of or are actively ignoring just how bad things are.
Best example I can think of at the top of my head is their attitude towards big tech. Sure, they may not like it when people get banned for shitty reasons but they'll always shrug their shoulders and cope with

Ethically, I believe its the most sensible option.
Practically, it cant deal with hostile nation-state level threats. A society of individualistic sovereign estate owners cant mobilize against a top-down hivemind like China.
