Why did Any Forums stop doing things that actually mattered? We used to raid tumblr, take down faggot flags, unmask antifa, rig polls, shit at one point we actually found a syrian rebel base.
Now we don't do anything, anytime someone tries to organize something here it gets spammed with "not your personal army!!!", or that it's a honeypot. I mean, we don't even have to do anything illegal, even just fucking raiding reddit or twitter or SOMETHING would be more meaningful than all the constant bait threads that are always on the front page.
This is the real answer, the Any Forums of old is dead and we are just shitposting on a corpse now.

And a good third of the anons are tech illiterate normies tourists, a third is demoralised newfags, and the last third is silently leaving oldfags. (and right now, its summer, ratio are even more fucked up) If the world is already turning into a parody of itself, and if you risk some real life loss by pranking online, why would you do any of that?
If you have a nice project, you can motivate some anons. But it will take some successful projects to re-motivate the depressed (or coombrain) anons. But it would be a good thing to re-motivate the anons.
