Why should they act on it? They must use the socratic method to sift through nonsense, - only to find some arguments non-constructive; and while I've never learned something from someone who has only ever agreed with me; I've also wasted time arguing with people who are there for the sole enjoyment of the debate, - never argue with an idiot those looking on from afar cannot tell the difference, but neither can you until you argue. A catch-22 in a way; the nature of humankind.
